Bring your own skis or snowboard, or gear rented elsewhere, to Ski & Board Traventuria in Bansko. The service covers base repair, hot waxing, polishing, and edge sharpening. Drop equipment after 6 p.m. and collect it when the shop opens at 9 a.m.

Meet your English-speaking instructor at Banderishka Meadow for a two-hour private ski or snowboard lesson. Your coach adapts drills to your level, from first turns to stronger red-run technique. Instructors may include Martin, Donny, Chris, Teddy, Nikolaus, or Tsetso.

We booked 2 hour session for 6 days fo both boys and they absolutely loved it! Teddy, their instructor was excellent with them and they couldn’t wait for their lessons everyday! English-speaking staff with 18 years of local experience can help you choose gear for standard skiing, advanced skiing, snowboarding, touring, snow blades, or twin-tip skis.

Pick up snowshoes and poles at the Ski and Board Traventuria Shop, then spend a full day following Bansko’s marked eco-trails at your own pace. No instructor is included, so you choose your route and timing. Snowshoeing is simple to learn, but children under 12 cannot join.
